I specialize in helping clients get to the root of whatever issue they are coming in about and we work on healing the deep hurt/dissapointment/anger/fear so that those emotions no longer drive your life decisions. When these emotions drive our life decisions we get into relationships that are unsatisfying, jobs we feel stuck in, and overall do not feel fulfilled in life.

EMDR is a best practice for PTSD treatment which is supported by the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs
EMDR is a psychotherapy that focus on helping your brain to naturally heal from traumatic life events. Often times it is difficult for your brain to naturally heal after an event if you do not have an adequate support system, time, or resources to allow your brain to naturally heal. EMDR helps you to access the traumatic memory in a safe, controlled environment to systematically allow your brain to heal from the image, negative feelings, beliefs and body responses associated with the event.
I specialize in helping people heal from traumatic losses in life. I help my clients to successfully grieve the loss of a loved one so that the loss no longer negtaively impacts your life and you can look back on the fond memories without being stricken with overhwlming feelings of grief.
Millions of Americans suffer from anxiety symptoms every year. Anxiety has caused people to experience issues on the job, struggles in relationships, impaired social functioning, and difficulties engaging in hobbies and activities. In severe cases Anxiety can result in extreme isolation and fear of leaving the home.
Anxiety is rooted in fear and we respond by seeking control resulting in excessive worry and irritability.
I approach relationship work a bit differently than most therapist and work mainly with one individual. Often times when there are issues in a relationship each person has their own "stuff" to address. I find it to be highly successful if individual work out their own "stuff" before moving on to doing coules or marriage counseling. So I work with individuals to work on their own issues as well as help them get their neesd met in their relationship by improving ways of comunication and how to best approach their partner. Couples counseling can be intimidating for many people and my clients as found an individual approach to be a good fit for them if they have their own stuff to work on, don't feel ready to have their partner in the room, or if their partner isn't on board for therapy.
